We will screen the 2022 documentary At Your Cervix  about nonconsensual pelvic exams in medical training in the US. The film connects this contemporary issue in relation to the history of gynecology and medical racism and sexism. A panel of faculty members and a local coordinator of a reproductive justice nonprofit group will make connections between the issues raised in the film and contemporary reproductive issues, multiple fields of study and programs, and current research being conducted by Geneseo faculty.
