The Department for the Performing Arts is holding auditions for:

Chicago

In the midst of the roaring twenties, the spotlight burns bright on two "merry murderesses" competing for scandalous headlines and  acquittal. Housewife Roxie Hart and vaudeville star Velma Kelly will stop at nothing to get their name in the papers and off death  row, even if it means pitting themselves against each other. The musical Chicago is a thrilling, satirical story of fame, fortune, and  murder; this six-time Tony Award-winning production has been dazzling audiences for decades and is the longest-running American  musical in Broadway history.

Auditions are open to all students at SUNY Geneseo. CALLBACKS 

Thursday, October 9, starting at 6:30 p.m. in Brodie 218. 

AUDITION REQUIREMENTS 

• Please prepare one 32-bar musical theatre song. 
• Please bring your sheet music in the correct key. A pianist will be provided.
• Please bring a resume with a headshot or photo if you have one. 

You must sign up for an audition time slot using this link: CHICAGO general audition sign-up 

And after your time slot is confirmed, you’ll receive an email with a link to a Google folder containing  the libretto and other necessary material.
