Monroe Community College, SUNY Geneseo, and Rochester-area organizations that support asylum seekers and refugees present a three-part series exploring how their work can provide vital support to at-risk populations globally while also benefiting communities locally through a process of creative placemaking. Attendees will learn about existing ventures as part of the City of Asylum / Cities of Refuge networks, discover Rochester-area projects, and learn how they can support a project to create City of Asylum/Rochester.
