About this Event
September 25 or 9-25 (Nine Two Five) is offically Dolly Day!
Let's celebrate the generosity of spirit and kindness that was the epitome of Dolly Parton!
Stop by the coffee station and pour yourself a cup of ambition!
Drop off a children's book to the collection box in the College Union Lobby, all books will be given out at local literacy nights and events through the United Way of Greater Rochester and the Finger Lakes in Dolly's name. All who donate will be eligible to win a Dolly themed prize!
Sign a card for a local first responder to show you care for those whose work often goes unseen.
Enjoy some sweet treats!
And at 2pm, we will play some of Dolly's most beloved songs and sing, hum or dance along!
We invite everyone to embrace what Dolly Parton means to them on 9-25! Wear something sparkly, or Dolly related, if you choose- or- just be kind to others, do what Dolly would do!
"Being a star just means that you just find your own special place, and that you shine where you are. To me, that's what being a star means."- Dolly Parton
