The Geneseo Wind Ensemble’s first concert of the year will present a diverse program of classic works for band, including Gordon Jacob’s “William Byrd Suite” and Malcolm Arnold’s “Prelude, Siciliano, and Rondo,” as well as a contemporary works like Scott J. McKenzie’s “Black Tie Blue Bop” and the beautiful “Adoration” composed by trail blazing composer Florence Price and  conducted by Katie Penna, Geneseo ‘28.  Veteran Rochester educator and performer Bill Tiberio directs the ensemble.
