An unsung American hero, Gordon Hirabayashi, fought passionately for the Constitution against an unexpected adversary: his own country. During World War II, he refused to report to a relocation camp with thousands of families of Japanese descent, launching a 50-year journey from college to courtroom and eventually to a Presidential Medal of Freedom. An inspiring true story of conscience amidst conflict, it is a one-man portrait of American character at its best.  GENseng's event stars alum Rusty Allen (Class of '14) as Gordon with Ben Bernstein (Class of '21) as Supporting Voices.  Cierra Mt. Pleasant (Class of '21) served as Costume Supervisor.  Guest artists include Gil Asakawa of Denver as Dialect Coach and Rochester's Valerie Wilkins as Hair Designer.  Professor Randy Barbara Kaplan, Artistic Director of GENseng, directed with lighting, sound, and technical direction by Professor Johnnie J. Ferrell.  Register to attend by clicking on the link for Jeff Zampino's (Class of '92) beautiful poster, or copy into your browser, and you'll also receive Brodie McPherson's (Class of '16) beautiful and informative program with your registration.  We begin "broadcasting" nightly at 7:00 pm; "curtain time" is 7:30 pm.  Any questions?  Contact Dr. Kaplan at
