This session provides a practical introduction to AI tools at Geneseo, focusing on how they work, their limitations, and their impact on our college workplace. Through discussion and real-world examples, participants will explore ethical concerns, job security questions, and ways AI can be used thoughtfully to support—not replace—human work.

This conversation invites folks just starting to experiment with AI tools, who are looking for information, a starting point for experimentation, and an opportunity to talk with others in the same boat. All campus faculty and staff are welcome.

Please bring your laptop or phone, to access some of the tools that will be discussed. You're also welcome to bring lunch, in a brown bag or otherwise. Light snacks will be provided.
