This workshop will help students better understand the process of career planning. Students will start the workshop by doing a self-reflective activity that will help them discover the qualities and characteristics of their own personality style as well as that of others. Understanding of themself will help them think about what type of career or environment they would like to work in. We would also do an interactive activity where students use planning analysis worksheets and sample job descriptions to plan how they would prepare themselves for that career. They can apply the skills learned in the planning activity to careers that interest them on their own. During the workshop online and on campus career planning resources will also be discussed.
