Everyone has an opinion about leaders and what constitutes effective leadership. Everyone can be a leader and most of us will be called upon to lead at one time or another. Start or continue your leadership journey with this introductory session to the GOLD program and to the fascinating world of leadership concepts, myths, and possibilities. Within this highly interactive workshop, participants will engage in a variety of activities ranging from self-reflection on what leadership means to identifying with leadership philosophies of historical as well as contemporary leaders. The instructor will explain the nature and purpose of the GOLD program, the requirements for completion of the various certificates, and will guide participants through a foundational understanding of leadership.
