The trans 2.0 workshop covers the fundamental ideas of the separate entities of gender and biological sex. The misconception that gender and biological sex are synonymous perpetuates the stigma and discrimination of individuals identifying as transgender. The trans 2.0 workshop also covers intersectionality and privilege which these topics highlight the idea that different identities within the LGBTQ+ community have unique privileges and disadvantages. The topics of intersectionality and privilege then would lead to the discussion of transgender myths. It is advisable that participants attended to previous Safe Zone training or have some practice in talking about trans issues already as this workshop is intended to be intermediate.
