About this Event
This workshop will offer students a critical perspective on how sustainability issues are portrayed in our culture by scientists, politicians, activist groups, the media and more. How do these differing portrayals influence the way the general public sees sustainability? What has changed in public opinion about sustainability since the first Earth Day and why? When leaving the workshop students will understand how to look for bias in sustainability sources, and where to go for the best sustainability news.
