Are you interested in mentoring high school students throughout their journeys? Are you looking forward to gaining experience working with students 9-12 before student teaching or career field placement? Or are you interested in looking for an opportunity to give back to others? Then, we invite you to join the H.E.R.O.S Youth Mentoring Program!
The H.E.R.O.S Youth Mentoring Program has become one of the most applied to programs by college students at SUNY Geneseo with great rates of growth for both mentors and mentees. The H.E.R.O.S Youth Mentoring program was designed in 2019 into a virtual mentorship program with an aim of helping underserved NY students pave a way of opportunities throughout high school. It is important for students to feel prepared during and after high school and our program provides 1:1 mentorship to help mentees explore their career pathway.
