Mindful Yoga for Mental Health is sponsored by the Health Promotion office and taught by the Associate Director of Counseling Services, Beth Cholette, PhD, RYT, a licensed clinical psychologist and a certified yoga teacher. This is a slower yoga class intended to help participants decrease stress and enhance overall well-being. We welcome faculty and staff to attend as a means to support students, to cultivate community, to encourage a sense of belonging, and to promote healthy wellbeing. Everyone is welcome, and no prior yoga experience is necessary – Dr. Beth is committed to offering accessible movement options for different bodies and abilities.
