The Alan Lutkus International Film Series presents, on Thursday <ay 12th at 6.30pm, Andrew Dosunmu's 2013 film Mother of George, starring Danai Gurira: the story of Adenike and Ayodele, a Nigerian couple living in Brooklyn, who are having trouble conceiving a child, a problem that defies cultural expectations and leads Adenike to make a shocking decision that could either save or destroy her family.
The director will introduce the screening and host a Q&A after the film, in conversation with SUNY Geneseo faculty Dr. Olaocha Nwadiuto Nwabara.
