Music as Weapon/Music as Liberation: A Discussion of Music's Role in Global Conflict

An interdisciplinary seminar hosted by the Music Society of Geneseo: We will be discussing Suzanne Cusick's article "Musicology, Torture, Repair" and how different uses of music in times of war and conflict affects the meaning of music as a whole.
