Hello fellow students! Did you know that 1 in 4 menstruating people sporadically misses class due to a lack of period products? Did you know that 2/3 of the 17 million low-income menstruating people in the US could not afford menstrual products in the past year? These people may include your own mothers, sisters, and (future) daughters. To learn more about the topic of period poverty, come to our event! We will watch a movie together and listen to a great speaker. You will walk away enlightened and activated!
