In this TLC January Jumpstart session, CIT will be your guide to Geneseo’s newly revised Information Technology Acceptable Use Policy (AUP). This fall’s major update strengthens expectations for responsible use of campus IT resources, including email, file sharing, cloud services, and emerging tools like AI. On January 15, all campus account holders will be asked to reaffirm their commitment to following the policy, so now is the time to understand what’s changed and why it matters.

In this interactive session, we’ll break down the key revisions, explore real‑world scenarios, and share practical tips for staying compliant while protecting data and privacy. You’ll leave with a clear checklist, links to official resources, and answers to your questions—so when it’s time to click “I agree,” you’ll do so with confidence.

Facilitated by Rick Coloccia, Director of Network & Information Security Operations.

This session will be entirely virtual on Teams. Click here, or on the "Join Stream" button below, to join
