Study Abroad: Western Humanities 221 in Prague and Vienna

We have ZOOM meetings every Wednesday and Thursday from 5pm to 6pm.  If you are interested, please register at the link provided in this events announcement!

Prague is home to Charles University, the oldest-university in the Germanspeaking world, est. 1348 by King Charles IV. The city is also used as a movie set for many European and Hollywood movies because of its preserved medieval architecture. It survived WWII virtually intact. It is also a UNESCO World Heritage site. In addition, we will spend 4 days in Vienna visiting the St. Stephen’s Cathedral, Schönbrunn Castle and Sigmund Freud’s apartment.

Western Humanities 221 counts for the Humanities requirement for general education and can be counted toward the European Studies general requirement. Most of our tours take place out of doors. Our hotel is also well ventilated. Each room has a mini-kitchen with fridge, stove, and utensils.
