About this Event
Want to be inspired to take action on the climate crisis during Earth Week 2022? Watch Youth v Gov, the story of America’s youth filing a ground-breaking lawsuit against the U.S. government. They assert it has willfully acted over six decades to create the climate crisis, thus endangering their constitutional rights to life, liberty, and property. The plaintiffs represent the diversity of America’s youth impacted by the climate crisis. Hailing from across the country, they encompass cultural, economic, racial, and geographic diversity, with many from marginalized communities - yet their stories are universal. Follow it up by attending a GREAT Day session on sustainability, watching the GREAT Day keynote, or attending one of the many sustainability events this week!
Youth v Gov is available to Geneseo students, faculty, and staff to stream online all week, from Monday, 4/18 to Tuesday, 4/26.
